Watana Wire & Cable Company was inaugurated in 2004 with the purpose of manufacturing electric wire and cables for Laos market. The products are represented under the trademarks of WWCC, ELEPHANT, LION and A-Plus. Our highly extensive experience and stringent quality control systems, together with our relentless and continuous development mindset have propelled us to the forefront of our industry.
WWCC is one of the leading electric wire and cables manufacturers in Laos. Our integrated state-of-the-art production technology enhances our manufacturing performance and enables us to achieve higher quality products. WWCC’s recognition speaks volume of the devoted and our focused executive management. We are accredited with BS (British Standards), IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization).
Our history
2013
Expanded the building and incresed production area covering 2,650 sq.m.
Present
Installed Tubular Stranding machine to produce AAC and ACSR cables.
2011
Watana Wire & Cable Company was fully accredited the ISO 9001 version 2008 standard in September 2011.
2012
WWCC commenced the construction of a new production facility project to keep up with the ever increasing demands.
2009
Installed Aluminium Rod Breakdown machine. Increased Aluminium Cable Capacity to 200 MT per month.
2010
Installed Copper Furnace, Commenced production of copper conductor cable.
2007
Installed 800 mm. Double Twist Buncher machine to meet the increasing demand of the market.
2008
Installed Auto Wrapping machine, Rigid Frame Strander and PVC Extruder 90 mm. + 35 mm. for production of VAF, THW and NYY cable.
2005
Installed PVC Extruder 75 mm. to produce VAF, THW and NYY cables. Installed Drawing machine and Bunching machine.
2006
Began production of copper, aluminum and supplied to domestic electricity authorities with trademark WWCC, ELEPHANT and LION.
2003
Constructed plant is located at Nakhouay Road, Nasangpai-Ban, Saisettha District, Vientiane, Lao P.D.R.
2004
Collaborate technical and academic metters with Tran Phu Electric Mechanical Joint Stock Company Co.,Ltd. of Vietnam.
